Louisiana Traditional Bowmen Hunt

This weekend the LTB is hosting a hunt on some public land in Louisiana. It looks like we will have a decent crowd there from the attention it is getting in the Facebook group. This particular WMA is about 1.5 hours from the house and I have never been there.



I will try to take some pictures and make a decent post at the end of the hunt! I'm hoping someone will draw some blood!

i would like to connect with y'all! i don't as of yet have a stick bow but I aspire to have one. I understand the hunting is much much better up in y'allz parts than down here....

If you need help getting a bow, I can help! Feel free to ask any questions you may have! I used to own and operate HCBstrings.com and have made 1000's of bowstrings over the years and helped quite a few people get into a tradbow set up! If I can help you, please lmk.

In todays world, the cheap stuff is good enough. Is it custom, no. But it functions plenty well enough to get it done!

Well, back from the hunt. Tough to go somewhere and have 3 total hunts and be successful, but I did manage to shoot a doe on the second hunt.

The extra scouting a buddy and I did the day before paid off!!

First deer with my longbow in several years!

Heck yeah! Three hunts in a new place with trad off the ground and a doe to show for it is an awesome accomplishment! Way to go.
