LWCG .5

Do you have a wolf pack yet? Thoughts?
Yes, I like it. Has more room than I'll probably ever need unless I'm packing in bibs, in that case I'll just pack them between bag and stacks. Clipping 2 buckles is so much nicer than trying to catch the cam strap on the tabs or using a bungee.

I really want that bag, but I can’t stomach the price for what it is.

^^^^ same here, eventually though I will probably give in to temptation lol

Are you like a LWCG sponsor? I have't seen the pack come to market.

I was curious about the wolf pack. 18 compartments on a 1320 bag? How small are these compartments?

e&e works well with the stands and probably what I will be using

they did a run a couple weeks ago… sold out pretty quick

Wow. I got killed here over comments on this pack. It's not what I'm looking for, but IDK how I missed this. I have been vacationing, maybe they missed me with the promos. Guess I'm out of the loop with them.

Why I'm not going that route. Though it is a nice design, and very feature rich with unique solutions for hunters, it is a bit large for my needs..

Have you tried it loaded up with bibs stuffed in between the bag and stand? How did that ride?

I'm going to be packing bibs and coat each and every time. I think a shorter bag that would ride on top of them would be great.

I just got a Kuiu Stalker 500 to try out with the .5. I think this is going to be the ticket for me.

Definitely not as feature rich as the Wolf Pack, but it’s going to stop me from taking a bunch of stuff to the woods that I don’t need. I really like that the shoulder straps unbuckle like the lwcg. My pocket arm and camera fit with some extra room. Bibs and layers will get strapped to the stand. For $60, this one may be hard to beat with the .5

Not yet, my focus right now is getting through September and October. Once the cold rolls around I'll probably stick the .5 on my stryker again. I'll mess with my bibs and jacket some tomorrow and post a couple pics.

So the main compartment has 4 sleeves on the inside 2 large, 2 small and the 2 zip pouches on the lid. The zipper pouch on the front side has 2 sleeves plus the sd card slots, and then the 2 water bottle pouches are big enough to hold a camera arm and fluid head. It's really just a blown up e&e that you don't have to buy extra pouches for

I dug the bibs and jacket out out of curiosity. Think I'll definitely stuff them between the bag and sticks and just use the straps on the top for hunts I'm just bringing a vest

This’ll probably be my go-to setup this year. I love this thing.

I was asking lwcg some questions about the .5 stand and got this response.

Hi Josh,

Thank you for reaching out. The new .5 will now have all of the edges smoothed out and will also include a pre-drilled hole to install our new bow holder. We have also come out with new seat pads to provide you guys with more comfort. So we offer the seat pad in both thick and thin now!

Thank you!
The LWCG Team
