LWCG Pocket Arm

Ok received my LWCG Pocket arm yesterday night and let me tell you wow. This pocket arm is amazing. Look at the low profile and how compact the LWCG Pocket arm is compared to my Muddy. Here are a couple pics of the pocket arm next to my old set up. More pics and review to come. If you have any questions please let me know.

Have you tried it on the tree yet? Just wondering how it holds level fully extended at different positions.

Its steady. No issue. I will probably take the middle arm off and run 2 arms for saddle hunting. But if i do that I can't fold it back up tight with the Manfrotto fluid head on. So the micro head you see now is a prototype Andrae is working on. The micro head is super smooth. We talked about changing it a little bit to be more user friendly for bigger cameras. I run a Sony AX53.

I can tell you that the Pocket are is awesome, super compact and light weight. It hardly takes up amy room in my pack and you really can slide it in your pocket. The Muddy will be staying in the Garage.

That looks sweet. I want to start filming with my Nikon D3300 but not sure how it will do. I'm assuming it will be alight with an external mic but I have no experience

Hard to use a DSL in my opinion but lots of people do. The camera will work great once you get used to it. The Pocket arm will work great for you and its so compact

Ya, I'm thinking about getting it for this year and if not I'll for sure have it for next year. Self filming seems awesome and right up my alley.

looking forward to seeing your review as I'm on the fence with the pocket arm or the fourth arrow. Obviously the draw to the pocket arm is its size and simplicity. Would be curious to see it with the manfrotto fluid head on it.

If i go to a 2 arm my fluid head will not fit all compact. So in other words i couldn't fold it up. Now with the 3 arms my fluid head fits and i can fold the arm nice and compact.

Ohhh that makes sense! I’m looking at this one and fourth arrow since they made their base much more compact and tool less. Any bounce to this? I’ll be using my Sony A7iii with a light telephoto like maybe the pz 18-105 f4

None at all. Very stable, it is so compact u really need to look at it closely before u buy the 4 arrow. I looked at them but still very bulky. Love this pocket arm
