Now that the sale is on and wide open, who prefers the .75 over the .5?

.5 is to small for me.
Same here that's why I'm using LW Assault 2stand. I liked the .5 it's small and the .75 is narrow for me I think Assaults2 is the best for me. If I didn't have three I would probably be using the Xop Rubicon.Coming from one sticking/hunting from a saddle the past 5 years, the .5 was a nice change this year and didn’t seem too small at first but I find myself wanting more room the more I hunt out of it

The only thing I didn't really like is the platform V they should have made it like the Assault2 and made in China. That's why I'm back in my Assault 2stand!! The Xop price is not bad for it considering stands are ridiculously priced any more.Rubicon is a brain fart of a design.

I borrowed my father in laws .75 for 2 sits, and prefer the .5 mostly because of the cable placement. The .5 almost feels like a bigger stand if you are hybrid hunting out of it because of the cable placement on each. Moving into later season, Ill bring the 1.0 more often.
A 1.0 only weight .6lbs more than a .75. Id pay that penalty all day long for the extra width.
The weights on the website have the large seat on the 1.0 and medium seat on the .75.
Given the same seat and post configuration the 1.0 is only 3.4oz heavier than the .75
Own a .5 and use it a ton. I did saddle hunting for a few years but really missed sitting. .5 is great for so many things. Need to add the pad to make it carry better.
BUT
I KIND OF WANT A .75. Would be so nice during the rut. Couldn’t cheaper and get the XOP stand that’s similar but man I am tempted.

So which one of the two are you hunting out of?

I didn’t realize the large seat was that heavy. Swapped my .5 seat for a large and carried it for a few sits and just didn’t care for the extra size.

Yeah I haven't used it my self!! I'm happy with my Assault 2. Your Wright about the versa button! And the platform V is my problem with all the stand out now!! The 1.0 probably is the best out now but I have a few things I don't like with it. For a few pounds more I will use my Assault 2stand and I killed a 10pt out of it in October I'm getting attached to it!!The button is to close to bracket. It cams like crap. They changed the design of the seat leveler. It’s squeaky as hell.
If you are going by that traditional bowhunters podcast guys review. Whoever gives him something for a discount or free is the greatest thing that week. He’s a sellout
I like my .5 and I’m 6’3” 205ish. I mainly use it as a hybrid setup but also use it like a normal hang on on the front side of the tree, just depends on the setup. Of the 5 deer I shot out of it 3 were when sitting on the front side and 2 while hanging off the backside. I’ve sat 7 hours in it as my longest sit (front side) and had no issues. But I’m also more mobile/flexible than the average dudeNow that the sale is on and wide open, who prefers the .75 over the .5?
