Sent this seat to Mike last week to see what he comes up for on a pouch. One thought I have is to integrate a seat pad on the top side over the mesh since I don’t kneel into the seat.
Any other thoughts are welcome

Been wondering if LWCG is going to make any changes to the Ranger Hybrid.

Specifically the
  1. location of the top versa button (which prevents the platform from folding completely flat) and the
  2. design of the seat pin (which some have reported as less than ideal.).
Open to hear any updates they may have to incorporate.

I think I’m going to run just a marsupial stretch pouch under the seat to fit gear hanger and tether. I flip the seat cushion when I go from seat to stand so I don’t need 2.

But this will keep stuff off my saddle, and always have it loaded and ready in the hybrid setup. Plus once I get to height, there won’t be a loaded pouch in the way if I decide I want to stand/lean with seat as knee cushion
 
Is there a tree stand hunter support thread? Finally pulled the trigger. Are KUIU backpack straps the way to go?

I liked the (now gone forever but latitude trying to replicate) TX5 suspension system on mine. Comfortable, lightweight, supportive. Only thing it didn’t do was handle tons of weight well because when I put quarters on the frame of my .5 it started to rub wear spots on the straps. But really in general the .5 is not a great meat hauler, so for everything else that combo was wonderful

I have the Kuiu suspension on my 1.0. No need for the carbon frame. 100x better than the TX5 was and even more than that over the latitude setup.

So my game plan this year is to use the .5 (new mesh seat) and ring of steps. Using my one sticks to climb. Not sure how the crossbow will affect mobility.

Got a question for the aider users with LWCG compact doubles... how are you guys stacking these? I find that the aider gets in the way if you try to push them into the split cam buckle and then try to stack the two sticks together. I'm wondering what others are doing to combat this.
 
What’s the best cushion for the .75 standard seat? My rear end won’t be able to take more than an hour in this thing. I originally planned on mostly standing and facing away from the tree. I like to lean against the tree with my back on the ambush but the cable are in the way with .75.
