It works very well. Basically the only reason I hesitated when selling my .75
Definitely nice on a 1.0 with a mesh seat!

Yeah it’s great but 18lbs combined to cary my pacseat and saddle kit is a little much.Thank god for Waldrop! My go to everything seat!

I'm gonna do the same thing with the Turkey pacseat and my .5 and 4 latitude carbon ss sticks. The pacseat as a frame pack for deer pack out and ground hunting also use a rock climing harness with a 8.5 tether and prusic. So I’ll admit I still have gear urges outside of my .5. Which is currently the only platform I own. I’d really like to have a platform of somekind
So in my head I started building this Ground hunting, scouting, platform setup. Using a pack or Fanny. Having a 2lb ultralight chair with me, sticks, and a platform. So for not much weight I can literally do it all if needed.
Then I started really thinking about it and just adding the chair to my current setup covers it all. Saves me a ton of money. I might still do a setup like that for the fun side of it but a .5 really covers so much it’s hard not just to use it.
Just when you think youve seen everything, a $500 frame zip tied to a $600 hang on turns up the heat.
lol. You ain’t kidding Teufel! The shame of it is, I could have made better use of the frame but it’s 22” and wouldn’t fit me appropriately, if I were to correctly pair it with a typical pack setup. However, I had it, and instead of selling it for a loss and having to look into purchasing a whole separate suspension system, figured I’d cut my losses and make it work with the stand and as you would expect, it’s a champ.

As long as you’re happy. That’s all that matters.
I think the real kicker is that it’s a $500 frame and a $600 stand (and look, I have a 1.0 and a crossover so I def ain’t the one to do the high horsing), but the fact that it’s being held together by $1.35 in zip ties is truly what genetically ties it to the scrap 2x4s and cut in half 50 gallon drum paw paw nailed in a tree in 1987.
The zip ties are remembering where we came from.
Depends on your definition of "real", lol.
The gear that sponsored / paid “hunter influencers” use is meaningless to me. Shill input is worthless.Find it interesting that since Levi Morgan dropped his Trophyline sponsorship he uses a LWCG ambush. For whatever that info is worth to people

The gear and equipment used by members of this forum - and their real world, unbiased opinions - receive significantly more consideration.
YMMV.
What are yall doing about the straps clanging off the stand? It’s near impossible to keep them from hitting some when taking the stand on/off and setting it up? Are yall taping around buckles?
I do not know who he is or care what he uses. Cute story, though.I believe Levi states in the video he is not sponsored by any of the companies he’s using.

Silence the buckles. Bicycle inner tubes, stealth strips, sewn can koozies, vet wrap are popular approaches. What are yall doing about the straps clanging off the stand? I have stealth strip on my cam buckle but it also doesn’t touch my stand until I’m hanging it. The cam buckle strap lives in a pocket on my pack until I’m ready to climb. Then it goes into my pants pocket until I’m at height. LWCG .5 comes off my hip (I hang it on my saddle to climb) and cam buckle strap comes out of my pocket. Then hang it that wayWhat are yall doing about the straps clanging off the stand? It’s near impossible to keep them from hitting some when taking the stand on/off and setting it up?
