LWCG stand setups

Man you guys are gonna talk me into a set of the lwcg ranger specific straps from them

The attention to detail from Hobo is unmatched. They have been working great this summer rucking with a 30lb sand bag strapped to my stand. Better than the Kuiu straps I had on 1.0 before these.

Since they've been mentioned.... How have Hobo Gear been on shipping? I placed an order on 7/20 and it's still "We're preparing these items for shipping.". Not a big order and not a big deal if this is normal.

Did you order through Revive? (J/K....LOL.....kind of......)

So you think plenty of capable of packing out a deer?

Anyone using Kifaru Xray straps on their .5 stands? I’ve seen them mentioned before but not enough details on setup.

I bought a .5 secondhand and it didn’t come with straps. I’m trying to figure out a more economical alternative. Plan is to use the straps for climbing since the stand already gets carried on my frame pack.

X-ray are not good. Get the duplex straps and the backwoods mobile gear kit if you want to go the kifaru route. Otherwise just stick with the custom gear ones.

What makes them not good? They’re currently on sale for $40. Not trying to spend more than $50 for a set of straps that only get used to carry my stand up the tree. Those duplex straps are big and bulky.

Good luck… there is zero padding. Unless you hunt 100’ from your truck. Anything will be an improvement over those turds even the Allen shoulder straps.

I think you are failing to read my post. You’re not making any sense and totally ignoring what I’m asking.

I only need the straps to carry the stand up the tree after I have set my sticks. My stand gets carried in using my SG 5900 pack.

Sounds like you know what you want. For going up a tree it probably doesn’t matter what you use.

That’s why I asked if anyone has it set up on their stand. I’m asking for examples before I set mine up.

Only two commenters and both of you fail to read the post. If you’re not using the xray straps and don’t have any economical alternatives then my post wasn’t directed at you.
