Mantis Saddle shipping status

I just placed mine yesterday because I should have it by mid october just in time for rut in Wisconsin.

But I feel like a lot of people are distrusting right now because of the anticipation, the yaark dibocal, and other saddle companies taking a long time, and to top it off the revision of last shipping update.

I'm just super stoked that they are doing the updates even if they have to revise them because they are owning up to mistakes. Now the recent problems, who knows what's going on!

that shipping update revision was brutal. I went from being a day in the green to 5 days in the red.
 
I waited a week to order mine because I wanted to check out the other saddles out there. I really like the minimalist approach to their products. I’m definitely cheering for them to succeed.

I was pretty reserved to getting my order late and having it for spring but then they started making great progress and my expectations/hopes completely changed. just found out one of my orders just showed up at work today so that's something. lol
 
So what was the whole point in making a big deal about moving shipping update day to Friday when we don’t even get a shipping update on Fridays?
 
Last week was the first time I noticed they missed their Friday update, it posted fairly early on Saturday though. It does suck when your hoping for good news and it doesn't come.
 
As much as the shipping notice on Monday that didn’t actually leave their facility bothered me. I want to give Tethrd some credit, when I emailed them they were decent about it. They explained the issue and my mantis is finally on its way this morning. I was a L ordered on 7/30.

Updates moved from Monday then Friday then Saturday now?????

UPDATE IS IN… not what we were hoping for.. They are now inside lead times so our weekly updates are now going to be rare... under 6 weeks on saddles and abt 3 weeks for platforms.
 
So the update is your not getting update today or anymore.

I get it. It may save them a little time. They don’t have to hear about or see us openly wondering and complaining here. But part of what I liked about tethered was the communication and involvement here and other places. Oh well. I still have a positive view of them and hope that doesn’t change. We shall see.

Judging by that update and the revised update from last week I think I’m just going to quit hoping to see my saddle before season starts.

Same here. I’ll be mostly using my summit I guess. I should be practiced and ready for gun season but bow hunting up close and personal is what I was really looking forward to in the saddle.

I think they're getting overwhelmed with all of us fiending over their gear. It was nice to see how close we were getting to shipping day though. Now were stuck waiting on a random email. I'm almost 6 weeks in now so hopefully in the next week I'll hear something.

Yep. Killed that anticipation I was so enjoying. And we won’t be talking about the mantis as much but they’re no doubt better at social media and marketing than me.
