Mantis Saddle shipping status

nah... they opened up their overseas channels. I see they changed the biners that come with the tether and what not. The were black diamond now they seem to be some Chinese ones with the Tethrd logo.

I don't know about cancelled orders at all, but production of saddles is just way way higher at this point so that's the reason the times are coming down.

I’m happy. 3 weeks earlier than expected and just in time for the weekend. :)

Well I’m sitting here waiting for UPS to deliver my Mantis when suddenly an email from them popped up in my inbox. Thought maybe they dropped it off at my door and I was getting a Delivered message.

NOPE. It was a message saying that my delivery will not be happening today and no reason or expected date that it will. No idea what happened but I’m pretty annoyed.:angry:89303B1E-863F-4A38-BB41-CA301FDCC458.jpeg

After looking at the new trophy line - it looks very similar to the old models. Some loved them, some hated them. My guess is that it will hunt and hang very similar to the old models. I doubt very seriously they will impact Mantis sales.

The Mantis was designed for a totally different group of hunters. Those of us that go in deep, hike through the nasty, wade rivers, etc... the crowd that wanted a minimalist saddle that can stow away in a large cargo pocket or in a pack. It was also designed to stay out of the way by removing unnecessary bells, whistles and needless straps so that shot opportunities were not hindered by limitations imposed by a bulky saddle. It is a hunting saddle pure and simple. Not everyone is going to love it, but just look at the hard core hunters using it.. John E. , Andy May, Flinginairos, THP, and many more.... It is well made, tested by an independent firm, compact, quiet, safe, comfortable enough for all day sits.

There is not a hunt that goes by I do not thank Greg, Ernie and the rest of the Tether'd crew for putting out the first true minimalist mobile hunting saddle.

Finally got my email from Tethrd. My Mantis is getting delivered on Monday 10-14-19 now. Looks like it’s finally on the move. :)
 
Was in contact with Tethrd and just got word the larges a bit behind the other sizes. Ordered 9/23 and sounds like it will hopefully ship by end of next week. The wait continues for this new saddle hunter!
 
I got my Mantis and Recliner yesterday. Ordered Sept 15th so less than one month. My MicroFit Adjusters were not in the box. Contacted Tethrd and they got back to me right away and said they ran out and will be shipped when they get more in stock. Hopefully I don’t miss them since I’m testing my Mantis out this weekend. So far it looks well built and lighter than my Kestrel. Only time in a tree will tell me which one I like better.

I hope it’s sooner than that! I ordered the 23rd as well!
 
Large Kit ordered on sept 16 came in today. Minus tether, micro adj. And platform.
I'll be more excited when everything shows up

I ordered a mantis xl kit with everything except the platform. I ordered it on October 8 as of today everything has shipped and should be here by Friday. I do not think my micro adjusters have shipped yet but I can not tell.
 
last night i received the email for platform and tether from my 9/16 large kit order..
Should be at the door on Thursday... So yea now I'm officially excited
 
They have updated return times in the news section. It will tell you everything you would like to know.

Never got an email from tethrd, but i checked my UPS account and they have the package coming Tuesday!
