Mantis Saddle shipping status

I think there has been enough discussion about this. Time to get the thread back on topic guys...
I thought that's what these forums were for, to throw out comments, engage in discussion, and get other people's takes? It seems like every time a good, respectful, discussion gets going it gets shut down. I guess I misunderstood what this was about

Its a difficult line to walk. All of us Tethrd like to help people in need and while Tethrd's typical response time is less than 24 hours, we often find that many customers post to multiple social media platforms in addition to contacting Tethrd directly. Sometimes after they have received a response directly from Tethrd.... I hate to say it, but this problem is going to continue as it is impossible to control. Not only does it cause frustration with moderators and Red here it causes inefficiency at Tethrd. It definitely isn't a perfect world.

The topic of tethrd providing customer service THROUGH saddlehunter.com is the topic that has been "shut down". The topic of this thread "mantis saddle shipping status" and tethrd's customer service in general are what this thread is about and open for discussion.
 
I'll add to that. None of the other saddle manufacturers (jx3 Outdoors, Aerohunter, tactisaddle, etc.) have paid staff posting customer service related stuff on here. Not to my knowledge, at least.

“This is Sophia, owner of New Tribe/Aero Hunter. We asked our printer to apply the black coating to our camo fabrics, just to tone down the white on that side of the cloth. Like you, we expected it to wear much better than it does. Fortunately, this wear is superficial and will not affect the life-safety or durability of the saddle. And the camo print on the outside of the fabric is applied in a permanent process that will last.

We also see fraying where the fabric has pulled away from the webbing at a couple of high stress points. It's good to remember that the life-safety strength of the saddle is in the webbing, not in the fabric. Because of the way the webbing reinforces the fabric overall, the fabric can fray a little but then stop. It's scruffy-looking, but this is not a weakness in the Flex saddle.

We are modifying the construction of the Flex seat to prevent this. We want our saddles to meet our high standards for the appearance of our products. But a nice appearance is our fourth goal, after we've assured that a product is safe, functional, and comfortable to use. You can safely use your scruffy Flex for years.

I don't think her 6 lifetime messages on this forum have really been bogging down the content here on the forum. But if the mods are uncomfortable with it I'm sure they will reach out.

Never said she bogged down the system, never thought it was inappropriate, and never said mods didnt do a good job. Thought he was wanting examples of other companies using this website to answer customer concerns. Heck Mgaris launched the podium, perch, and ridge runner from this platform and often answers customer service issues here. Never heard any complaints about him. I just find it funny how tethrd often gets called out for things others don’t. Just an observation. Carry on.

So I'll get it 52 days after I ordered it...so a little over 7 weeks... Any buddy else get their notice today?

Got my email last night finally. Should be delivered Wednesday. Ordered on 8/6 as well. I’ll have until oct 15 to practice for our archery opener. I can’t wait to get in it!

My email that came on 9/20 said that it shipped out on 9/19 and will be here on 9/25

I'm in California. Our entire state is split up into different zones some are draw only and the rest are OTC or over the counter till all the tags are sold. Our first zone to open for Archery is A-Zone OTC which opens the first weekend of July. Usually you get a couple of weeks between the end of Archery and start of Rifle. I hunt D3-5 normally which is OTC. Archery opened the 17th of Aug - Sept 8....Rifle runs from Sept 28-Nov 3rd. Bear Season Archery runs at the same time as D3-5. Bear rifle season opens as each dear zone opens for rifle and runs till the end of December or till we hit qoata ...1700 bears...which never happens, we cant run dogs on them anymore.

Just checked it and if it’s true, they didn’t leave room for guessing this time, my saddle system has shipped. I will be very excited to get it in time for season and my trip up north. I visited a fellow member today who was super awesome and gave me a few things that I was on here researching to put together a setup for this season. I was going to cancel my order Monday to be honest. Hopefully I can just wait a few more days and be fully tethered up!!

I'm guessing that alot of the complaints that people have had abt a lack of communication have been heard and they made moves to correct it. This is all we were Asking for. Good luck this season everyone.
