I can hunt inside the red circle. Took a bigger picture so you could see the ag field in the lower right. Initially thinking the saddle in the lower right would be a good starting point. There is nothing planted in the field in the upper left. Won't have any time to pre scout and won't have much time to hunt it. I'll be heading in blind and scout my way in. Where would you head if you only had a weekend to try and get it done?

I would probably start at the SW inside corner on the big field. I like the terrain features in that area along with the inside corner.

Id be looking alont that field then following sign back to those wet areas. Thats most likely where the bedding will be.

Hard to say without knowing what the wind direction for the day is calling for....I'd start in the south and be on the right side of the road

It looks like right now its going to be a south then southwest wind.

Couple of nice saddles within that red circle. One to the NNE and the other to the S or SW. I really like that narrowing of the cover strip on the south side near that south saddle. Where everything has to funnel through there (between the two 1000 ft. marks on your map). I also like those ridge spurs to the Northwest. I would check for some decent sign on the northwest side of that ridge spur. With a S. or SW wind a buck could bed on that NW side of that ridge spur with the wind coming over its left side back (the buck would be bedded with its head at 1'o clock so to speak with a South or SW wind and he's looking down the north west side slope. If I were a buck I could bed on that chicken foot ridge spur and facing toward that road or lane to the west and be separated by the cut and see activity on the road.

could you circle where you're referring to in regards to the ridge spur? I don't know where you referring to.

Blue is the suspected bedding spot on a S or SW wind. Yellow is wind direction. I would scout that ridge spur area for sure. I like those inside and outside corners too especially where the "tail" of my yellow wind arrow starts close to the two "1000" ft marks that is a decent looking funnel area with the saddle and the inside corner of the cut. The outside corner to the northwest they probably go through that to make their travel more direct but its getting closer to that two track lane which imho is a pressure area. May not have a lot of daylight movement there.

THank you for your detailed explanation. I appreciate it.
