Double rock park in parkville is pretty nice.. Big pavilion with lots of trees and plenty of parking.

You'll get robbed there! lol

McKeldin park has a shelter all the way in the back that is surrounded by trees. Lots of parking also. It's on Marriotsville Rd.

I'm close by in Woodstock.

I was involved in a meetup there in 2011, not sure if the organizer had to rent 2 sites though. i'm very familiar with that area, nice spot.

Just seeing this thread and with some quick scrolling I didn’t see a date. Is there one set yet? Millersville MD area here.

Also @Adrena123 & I are getting a list of demos together any suggestions?? We should have most saddles & platforms represented. But list climbing methods you would like to see; public land legal only sorry (no spurs or bolts) ....

@Bigterp ,Can't we start a list or something on here where people can check "im coming" or..? Maybe within 2 weeks we could get a head count.
I feel this year will be even bigger, double the attendees..

Depending on where you have it spurs and bolts may be legal. Unless a specific WMA has more restrictive regulations, spurs and bolts bare legal on MD State Forest property.

You can add me to the list, and I will most likely have 1 ( possibly 2) guests with me.

Is that a Chesapeake forest lands only kind of thing ?

I don't know about Chesapeake Forest lands. There is more info in this thread.

MD DNR has no regulations against spurs or bolts, other then whatever you put in the tree has to be removed at the end of the day. Specific WMA's or parks may have more restrictive rules though.
