It was definitely a good time. It was also the first Saddle hunting anything that actually saved me money. Getting to see a couple saddles that I thought I was interested in made me realize I'm pretty happy with th setups I have now.
Found it thanksCosmo hitch. It's been mentioned a few times on here but don't remember a dedicated thread.
don't sweat itI figured it out, your heel was on the sprocket when you stood up to pedal and it bent over. That's what can happen when you have sasquatch feetView attachment 51128
It was great to meet you, and to get to know you a bit. I enjoyed talking to you. Please pass on to your father how impressed I am with his craftmanship in the 3 bows you brought. I took some pics and I look at them this evening. Truly top notch! It was definitely a good time. It was also the first Saddle hunting anything that actually saved me money. I don’t know if I’d call baselayers lingerie, but that’s fair…… maybe I’ll have to rename my saddleTons of useful information yesterday. But I think the 'belle of the ball' was @Bigterp telling us that he got the material for his TX5 saddles from a website that sell large women lingerie. What was that site again?
And you were a raffle winnerNice meeting you guys today. I’m pretty quiet on here but figured I’d drop in on this thread and say thanks!
I’m confused I thought that was @Orion ?Was kind of cool that Kris the president of the bowhunter club was doing SRT to hunt and never heard of the forum. Was doing his own thing independently of all the trend.

Either way he was a cool guy, glad to make the acquaintanceOh wait you're right! Sorry. Got confused.
OK, let's go back and do it all again. Bring the deer burgers and snakehead.Ok so the good news and bad news...
Bad news is I installed the AAA battery in the shot gun mic backwards and got no sound on the video. I don't use the mic hunting, it's not needed but do use it filming other stuff...sorry. Next time I'll have a dedicated camera man. But besides that, It was a blast. Considering covid etc, 25+ people was a good turnout. I want to thank @DanO and Dryad for the equipment to raffle off, so cool. Also want to thank the cooks, demo volunteers, the 3d range and everyone for coming. It was great seeing you all guys. I'm still trying to soak in all the equipment I seen lol. Till next time.
No video as I installed the mic battery in backwards but youtube has a lot of vids as you know. You guys have anything you filmed from the meetup? I know someone who’s interested in getting into saddle hunting and if I could pass on a video that showed a bunch of different saddles/methods I think that would help
