Maryland Saddle Shootout LIVE 2021

@Bigterp are you (or anyone else) planning on getting something together again this year? I was over at Heart of Maryland Bowhunters yesterday and sounded like they'd be happy to host something again

I’ve been preoccupied with renovating/moving this year & didn’t put anything together…… so nothing in the works. Maybe we could do something in season & all try to hunt a public spot in the morning & do some type of meetup midday & then hunt the evening??????

Interested if the date you all pick works for me, but too busy to be an organizer/planned around.

Same here, after years of letting wife organizes our whole life based on the best interests of the kids. I'm barely able to decide between ketchup and mustard by myself. But would love to meet up and hunt with anyone!

I been MIA on the double edged sword known as social media for a good while. I had stuff going on too and was doing the summer hobbies as usual BUT getting together on public sounds like a great idea. A good 5 or 600 acre spot should work. Keep me posted.

I know a spot in Patuxent River State Park that has tons of milkweed (or at least it did last year/the year before) if you want to make sure we each go home with something from the field lol

I'd been parking at Elton farm road back when I hunted there, I was too new and dumb to weigh in on if it's a good area though, saw plenty of deer hundreds of yards away when I was struggling year 1. I'm sure there's milkweed (and deer) somewhere else as well but if we target a 5000 acre wma like that there's less chance of "ruining" someone's spot
