So, I recently got a Mathews MQ32. It's a little long on the draw length for me. So going into a local bow shop to get draw length exactly measured so I can buy the right cam. Bow shop says the cam will be $125 to order. Does that sound right? About as much as I paid for the whole bow. Just wanted to double check.

Seems pretty high to me. You need a cam or just the modules? I dont know why you would need a whole new cam. I changed my mods three times on my halon x and it cost me $25 each time, but i let the shop owner have my old ones.

Seemed high to me too. I don't know what I need to change to change draw length. As a noob I kind of have to take the word of those more knowledgeable which is why I figured I would double check here. I called a different dealer to price check but haven't heard back. Called Mathews and they said pricing was up to their dealers as they were just the manufacturer.

The older Mathews bows didn’t have modules. My outback required a new cam to change draw length. If you're buying them new I wouldn’t be surprised to pay that much. I found one on eBay for much less but I don’t remember how much. Then I had to pay to have it installed which they charged a premium for because I didn’t buy the cam from them.

Aha,i wasn't familiar with the model. That explains it. My bow is a 2016 which is not the newest, but not really old either.

That sounds right for a mathews bow given that it's older. BTW ask your shop how much to install and set up. I had to order cams for an obsession and they were a bill shipped. Lurk ebay and archery talk, you might get lucky.
And like @vtbowhunt said older mathews didn't use draw mods.
