For those who like the Meat Eater cookbook, I highly recommending Hank Shaw's cookbooks as well. Most, if not all, are on his website but the book has some extra content, and I like to support someone that contributes to the community, so I have all his books.

I like to cook and used both recipes. I got to tell you that while this is a great recipe, the one Meat Eater and osco busco is even better.

That one is great as well, I'm just a garlic fiend. And that garlic sauce doubles as a killer gravy.
 
I consume pretty much everything MeatEater puts out on all their platforms. Huge fan of the buffalo book (read it about once a year and still love it), all their podcasts, YouTube content and web articles.

I recently picked up Das Boat which is a pretty good watch. Haven’t started season 9 yet, but I’ll blow right through those 5 episodes once I start!
 
I started watching from the beginning with The Wild Within. Then through Meateater and started with the first podcast. I don’t remember the podcast number when I unfollowed and haven’t listened since, but he had gotten to the point where he would ask a question then never let anyone answer. Instead he’d immediately cut them off and start structuring their answer for them. It was too much for me.

I woulda knocked him on his ass if I was there. I have a friend that still listens and he says he’s recognized that crap and cleaned it up, but I haven’t gone back. I still like his tv show and just started watching the new ones that showed up on Netflix.
