Meet up near Nashville TN

I live in Franklin. Let me see if I can figure something out. A lot of people have property out here. Maybe we could use that. I’ll ask around.

That would be awesome man. Thanks for the help. It’s been a task talking to the parks people. First response was no guns allowed. I said no no it is just a rope on a tree and they just didn’t understand. Lol.

I wouldn’t ask for permission to climb trees in a park nor would I tell them that you’re bringing a large group of people out to do just that. Unfortunately all of the is seen as a liability and nothing more. For the meet up we had most of the gear checking out was done from the ground or one stick up. You don’t need to climb to check out a saddle either.
When I put together our meet up I simply called to ask about renting a pavilion which turned out to be first come first serve. We held it at a local archery park and had no issues whatsoever. All that said I also wouldn’t blatantly be out in the open at the center of the park doing it either. A nice picnic table or two in the back corner and you can have a nice time and be left alone. Y’all can do what y’all need to do, just my thoughts.

I am 3 hours north, so I am not familiar with the area, but how about Long Hunter state Park?
With 2600 acres, there has got to be a place we can hide out?

Yea man I thought about that but was afraid if we just did it and then one of the park people come by and made us leave it would be a sucky situation.

Was trying to keep it close to center hub of where most were around. there are o few that have peaked interest that are a travel away. But most are from around Nashville

I’d recommend to go ahead and pick a place since its gettin less than two weeks out, other wise it may stay a small meet up. Need to decide on a time as well. Let me know and I’ll up date the sign up.

I would also recommend you copy the attachment with the signup and add it to your original post so new people can see it when they click on this thread if they have yet to hear about the meet up. You could delete your old Text inyour First post and add the details.
Where and when at minimum would be helpful and then have the link below it. If people are on the fence or considering coming this will allow them to make plans.
 
Gents I have an area now. It will be liberty park in Franklin. 2080 Turning wheel lane Franklin. Tn. When you turn down the road it will be the first left up to the dog park. We can meet there. 10am start. I will be there 830 or so we will go till everyone has what they need. Dryad saddles will be there also Cruzr said they will try and make it if not they said they would send me a care package?? Not sure what that means. Everyone bring what you run with your ideas. Let’s make this a fun leaning experience for the new and old saddle guys. PM ME if you have questions.

If you could give us an update on how many have signed up that would be great. I spent most of the day today with Dryad saddles. Awesome set up he is doing. I think it will be an A+ saddle alternative to the norm. If you haven’t seen this in action check out his stuff on YouTube!!!
 
Gents not real sure on the food cooking. No grills at the park. They say they have A concession stand?? Maybe we just bring drinks and figure out food when we are there. I will let you all decide what you want to bring. I will have a cooler full of water and drinks I will bring. I might just bring me a cold sandwich. Can’t have personal grills on site. Sorry.

You boys mind if CGM comes to hang out? We will bring a few saddles and other gear, and a sewing machine and genny, just in case anyone needs mods or repairs. The CGM Mobile shop isn't quite ready for the road yet, but we will throw what we can in the truck.
