Anyone else gonna be there? Is there usually a lot of vendors selling equipment there? I have gone before but never in the market to buy something for hunting. I am looking at climbing sticks and wondering if I should browse the show for a deal before I order something?
I plan to catch John's seminar while there and maybe another.

I'm going. Last time I was there, I saw a LOT of vendors selling enclosed hunts, fishing trips, etc... not so much bow-hunting specific. I think the Aerohunter kestrel was the new thing that year. I met Bobby Boswell at that booth. Eberhart's seminar was worth going to - he's very good about taking questions before & after.

I'll be there Fri afternoon. Been to a few before, not a lot of gear for what we do, compared to outfitters and marinas.

Glad to have met some guys from Tethrd. Picked up a Phantom and a few brochures for an upcoming bear hunt and fishing trip. All in all a fun time!

I could feel my debit card lifting outta my wallet as soon as I tried the phantom today, also got a peek at John's saddle as well.

I was there briefly. Got to sit in a Phantom (it actually doesn't fit me well. I blame Twinkies) but opted out of buying one. The DIY version I made is more comfortable for me. John Eberhart's sling (think a webbing-bridged Wraptor) looks very interesting, but I didn't try it on.

I saw literally no other mobile hunting products, info, etc.

I overheard Ernie say around lunchtime he had about 50 Phantoms left to sell there, if anyone was thinking of making the trip for one.

Thanks for the information. I'm wondering now if it's worth the price of admission and 2 hours of driving if that's all there is. Is there any discount on the Phantom if you buy at the show?

They pulled up the price for me, it was the same as online. I was a little surprised- I expected show pricing. Admission is $12 for adults + $5 parking

Thanks. I guess it will be a game time decision tomorrow morning.
