Hi all. I finally signed up after lurking for over a year. I'm 48 years old and used several different saddles off and on from 2003 to 2011. It's great to see all these new improvements evolve mainly from this website it seems. I have been using a Lone Wolf hang-on or hand climber. Now I am back to doing more mountain hunts so it looks like a Recon sling is going to be added to my arsenal.

I shoot an A&H longbow or a Toelke Chinook recurve. Most of my free time is spent hunting, fishing and crabbing near my camp on the Maryland eastern shore. I also fit in a few long weekend hunts in northern PA and Ohio.

I see Dave Toms is on here. We were at a Barry Wensel whitetail camp in Iowa back in 2014. Nice to see you are still so passionate about hunting and tinkering with gear.
 
Welcome. I am also from Southern York County, PA.

This was my first year trying the saddle. My system still needs tweaking, but I am liking it so far.

Mike and the Pennsylvania crowd: I am also a new member but long time rope climber and Saddle Hunter. Just today, via the PA Saddle Hunter FB page, I posted about arranging a PA saddle hunters meetup event. We had one last year in March and it was excellent. The date and location is not set yet but I just wanted to spread the word.
