Any feedback on the mini platforms that you bolt into the top step of your sticks? The $65 one from the artisan company on Facebook.

I have one on my muddy stick works great. Holds better than I expected on side pressure.
I may but another strap to really tighten it down not sure on that yet

Zach, the owner of the company brought a variety of them to one of our demo days.

They’re pretty nice, I’d say the key is making sure the stick is as tight as you can get it so it doesn’t kick out from side pressure.
I spent a bit of time playing around with them and didn’t have any issues.

If you’re using sticks as your climbing method they’ll be a great option, maybe not as comfortable for long sits for some guys but worth a shot.

Definitely a nice looking part. For the DIYers with no CNC machine I think a few of these might be in order for the top of my lone wolf sticks with a little 1/4" thick 3"x3" aluminum angle, drill, grinder with cutoff wheel and some ingenuity.

I made one before I bought this one it takes awhile to make . With cost of materials and your time your better off buying from this guy IMO

Are these mini platforms made of aluminum? Might there be some value to rigging up a web strap with OCB at the bottom end of the stick to help prevent kick-out?

I have hunted off the top stick a lot prior to using squirrel steps. It's a great option for hunts that may or may not end in an actual sit. I really like this top step platform. Does anyone have one on the API's? I think it should fit since it's on the muddy sticks but want to be sure.

I believe he fabricates to your stick model.

Could this be mounted in reverse to give a larger platform area? The "V" cutout would face away from the tree.
