It’s kind of fun because you wind up passing some bucks. And I personally hold the viewpoint that you do wind up seeing bigger bucks more often in those areas that are point restricted.

Most are going to try to make it, a few for sure will be there. Ive sent out more info to 33 people last night and today. Even had a guy from maine that was going to try to make it
 
I think we have people interested from iowa, wisconson, michigan, ohio, arkansas, kansas, kentucky, west virginia, maine, and i think i had someone from alabama. Like i said, people from all over want to join. I hope they can make it
 
Hello from Jefferson City area. First post! Tried to read through all 14 pages of comments but gave up. Which campground is everybody staying at and what time are you all getting together? Will try to get a few guys together that haven't been in a saddle before.
 
Bucksaw campground. Also bucksaw marina/resort is right there too if you are not wanting to camp.

Would love to show up but with 3 little ones and being few hours away I’ll be checking in from the side lines...maybe next time !

I hear ya. I’ve got a 6yr, 3yr, and 6 month old. Normally my wife would say no way but my in laws live 30 min from Truman lake. Kids will get grandparents to torture and the wife will have help lol.
 
Sounds good. If I can make it out it'll be Saturday afternoon. Know anything about boat ramp use? 65hp mercury sounds a lot better than 1.5mi paddle... If the target is Cedar Creek that is.
