Moccasins for hunting?

I like this idea just for being the opposite of Crocs.
I think you need a “haversack“ to match your moccasins and new rig.

This from the guy that just smoked a copperhead in his front yard? I've been struck twice on the foot on my own property, one of those times much later in the season than I'd have thought snakes were active. No thanks; not around here, at least...

I was cleaning my parents basement for a perimeter drain tile install following some drainage issues and we found some salamanders. My father asked me to release them in a nearby creek.

Slipping through the woods on my way, a four inch thorn slipped through the Rockports I was wearing.

When I was a kid, I found a good size spring trap by that creek, and believe me I was treading carefully when that thorn went through my sole.

I've been well aware of this stalker shoe concept for a long time, and nervously watched THP tippy toe in their crew socks to much success.

Were it a successful stalk, might have been worth it; but it was salamanders, and it hurt like hell.

Yes, I use them. I made these for early season hunts last year. Climbed the tree in my saddle and knocked down a doe with the longbow on opening day here in AR. I put a thicker bison hide for the sole to help with thorns and such
