About 4 years ago I sold my set of 4 leverage sticks to my hunting buddy for 50.00. He needed sticks and didn’t want me to give it to him. His 4th child was born that next hunting season and put them up.
Fast forward to this past week. I asked him if he still had them and if so could I buy them back. He sold them to me for 40.00 and today I modified one. I also used 1/4 amsteel years ago and this time I correctly modified the amsteel.
I cut the stick 3” below my second step and put the stand-off 1 1/2” below the now bottom step. The steps are 15" apart and the total length of the step is 18". I then took my Yates big wall aider and set the stick almost six feet and climbed up. It worked great. I have three more to modify and the great thing is that it almost fits in my pop-up28.
