Molle 2 frame straps squeaking

I have a army molle 2 frame and shoulder straps I am thinking about tinkering with to customize a hybrid. Anyone out there know how to stop the strap squeaking on the plastic molle frame?
 
Other than squeezing some tape between the frame and the webbing, it’s hard to say. I have a large molle iI ruck I use for hunting. It has minor creeks and groans.
 
I took everything apart and stealth stripped the frame where the webbing connects, if that does not work I think I am going to roughen the edges with a rasp
