Been thinking about this for a while. Have a nice mountain bike that is blue…. Might have to get some camo tape or a camo tarp to hide it lol.
Nope. Purely old man leg power. The areas I hunt though are pretty low rolling hills though so its not like I'd need it to be. Also, one of the areas I hunt in is a strictly no ORV area and that's one of those gray area laws I didn't want to have to argue with a CO. Also, if I'm pedaling its definitely not a motorized vehicle and I don't need to worry about casing my bow in transport.@boyne bowhunter is your bike motorized?
That's a good point. NY used to be way more stringent on before and after legal shooting hours and bow transport....... some CO's required for trad, bow unstrung, compounds.... zip ties on the cam.... now however with most people shooting releases etc, as long as there is no arrow nocked and the release aid is in your pocket.... you should be ok. Still not sure about the trad requirements. Also, if I'm pedaling its definitely not a motorized vehicle and I don't need to worry about casing my bow in transport.
This is what I use. Works great.View attachment 60243
Looking at getting an Mountain 2 SeaAnother great and affordable option.
Similar to the Himiway I have, but a much more well-known and proven company.

Ebike with the Mid-drive Ultra motor.
@Apex7 what make and model is this? This is what I use. Works great.View attachment 60243
It's made by Rad power bikes and the model is the Radrover. I but a new controller on it from Bolton e-bikes to give it more power to climb hills. It's a good bike and I put a Rambo rack on it with saddlebags to carry my ESS saddle and whatever else I need. Also I put a Gator Grip bow holder on the front rack and I have a Rambo cart to get deer out of the woods.@Apex7 what make and model is this?
Good suggestion @Arkie I've watched GA Bowhunter's stuff on the Himiway bikes and now you got me thinkin' Just trying to find out what NY's rules on state game lands regarding ebikes are. I know they have liberalized their use generally on roads and streets as long as they are 750w or less.Look up “GA Bowhunter” on YouTube.
He’s got the same Himiway bike I do ($1,600) and he’s put his through the ringer as well.

@msnormand is the Giant Sedona hardtail a fat tire? I have a Felt 29N with almost 3" tires and can go a lot of places with it but not sure if I should add a middrive system to it or just go to a full fat tire Ebike.I've peddled a LOT this year, and it def helped many times without the long walks that take too much time. Almost certainly going to kit out my Giant Sedona hardtail very soon with at least 750w Bafang middrive system. Will pull a 14# Sherpa trailer when needed. At 64 still in good shape, but the hips and shoulders have def taken a beating carrying loads and walking over many years, gotta do something, can't keep that up lol.
I thought of adding a drive hub and wheel to my trek, but think I’ll end up with a fat tire ebike. I’d have to stay at a max 750watts to be legal on public land and even though I’ll get a cheaper model, I’ll feel better about once I add bags etc….@msnormand is the Giant Sedona hardtail a fat tire? Cool. What is that banding you're using?I just built a psuedo trailer hitch for my Himiway. I can pull my Hawk crawler with it pretty slickly now.
Just tied the crawler to the back last fall to get my buddy's deer out but found out we needed a better, more solid connection. This was simple and is working so far.
