I'm looking over my gear and noticed the fastening of my cam cleat looks bizarre. I've only got one stick so I have nothing to compare it with. Can someone post what the correct fastening should look like?20190908_124233.jpg20190908_124219.jpg

Did the nut shear off? Look for some grade 8 hex lag bolts and replace that. They will sit more flush.

No nothing has broke. I was thinking the same thing but the bolt still has the painted finish on the end. Definitely looks too short though.

Oh okay must be a recessed nut/stud. Hard to tell by looking at it.

It's a tee nut that is made to sit flat inside the tube. They do it that way for when you stack them on top of other sticks. Helps them stack flat together.

Does anyone know if you can buy just the cam cleats? I'd like to put them on my xop sticks.
