Just ordered mine at a higher price. They come tomorrow. I can't wait to get them and see if they are any better than a cam buckle style stick. I one stick climb with the JX3 Hybrid
 
Please let me know. I am new to one sticking and am alsoo old , fat, and crippled. So, any advantage would be most appreciated
 
The secret to one stick climbing lies in the length of your one step aider. If you’re a big guy or not a strong guy all you have to do to make it easy is shorten your aider. The shorter you make it the less stressful it is to climb. Yes, you wind up making more moves to get to the same height, but it’s worth it to only deal with one stick.

The 2 points of appeal for one sticking is less weight/bulk in that you only have 1 stick and unlimited climbing height. Well, you haven’t change either of those by shortening your aider so do it.
