Guys, I am completely new to saddle hunting and trying to figure out all of these types of ropes. In your opinion is the muddy lineman’s rope safe enough to use as a lineman’s belt and tether? Thanks

I agree, lineman yes but tether not sure but the rope is supposedto be strong enough to use as a fall arrest. I use their safety line system for all my presets. Cut about 8 feet of it for lineman and the remaining length is still long enough for safety line. The system comes with 2 prusics so almost think that's what they intended. Used them for years with no issues. One thing that puzzles me though is the package says it's 11mm rope but I feel it's more like 8mm.

I’m using the Muddly reflective life-line cut down for my lineman’s and wouldn’t hesitate to use it for the tether either. It’s rated and designed to catch you in the event of a fall.
