And shooting darts with my 600 grain arrows.
Are those your compound arrows?
And shooting darts with my 600 grain arrows.
They are the same arrows but I use different broadheads and the ones for the traditional bows have feathers. I use the same arrows in my compound as my 45# recurve and now the 50# static recurve. 200 grain for the trad, 100 gr for the compound, 100 gr insert in each. Works out nice. Are those your compound arrows?
Thanks man!Cool thread.
That's a special bow. Cheers to it killing again soon!
Yea, that’s what I was thinking as well.Man sorry to see that. I would glue it back together and place it on my wall. You still can look at it and remember the stories he spoke about it.
Was glad to enjoy the shooting that I did. Might have to buy one of the new K-6s now. It really was a quiet bow and fun to shoot. What a shame. It looked like it was shooting great. What's the old saying "It's better to burn out than to fade away!" You gave it a chance to fire some more arrows . . . that's what it was intended for.
Yes sir, no fast flight.Man sorry to see that! You did use a B55 Dacron string on that bow right?
Pap said, “well that’s what it’s for (shooting), I didn’t expect it to last forever.”
