I ordered some of these in 125 grain at the behest of a buddy now that I've taken 3 deer this year with my old broadheads. They're an over the top expandable and I've had luck with this style before (though not this particular head). Anyone have any opinions on it? Experience?

Use them, specifically for turkeys. Honestly, I use them because I DON'T want the arrow to go thru the bird (hard for them to get up & fly with an arrow hanging out of them) and in my experience they weren't the best penetrating head. Maybe others have had different experiences with them, but this is my opinion.

I've used slingblades and spitfires. The shockwave uses spitfire blades, which I like. I don't like the look of that big, goofy, screwdriver tip on the front of it. Shockwaves are about the cheapest broadhead money can buy. I would strongly prefer to shoot spitfires instead.

Just my 0.02.
