Need input on scout solo platform

Man I took the spring off and there’s all kinds of new gear already. Looks like an awesome platform

It’s shockingly comfortable for its small size.

I’ve added two tree hopper steps to it and it’s going to probably be my go to platform.

alone too small for me but with two steps on the strap it is the perfect platform rock solid and can also move around the tree with ease. Also by adding a step to each side of the tree you can sit comfortably and also lean using platform very comfortable as well. It will be my goto setup this season.

I tried mine yesterday and quickly realized there is no way to take the weight off to adjust an adjustable bridge or bridge loops. I think a step on each side may be the ticket for that. Otherwise it is very comfortable.

Thanks I got a tree stand seat platform now and never use most of the platform just the edge I lean the hole the me I’m hunting so wanted to get a different platform how does it handle side pressure

Handles side pressure very well. Its rock solid if you put it on the tree the right way.

To me, it is what the Perch wants to be when it grows up. Basically a little brother to the Ridge Runner, you just lose space in exchange for less weight. Same stability and rock solid OOAL construction. A big plus is the angle, much more comfortable than a level platform.

In the limited time I have on mine I'm relatively impressed. I thought the angled platform may be uncomfortable sitting but it turns out I don't hae enough weight on my feet while sitting that using the top edge isn't uncomfortable. It's perfectly angled for me when I do decide to lean and it's rock solid on the tree much like the Ridge Runner. I can actually stand with my feet pushing the platform away from the tree without it moving (actually swinging to face the opposite direction).

I have had mine for a couple of days now. Really liking it so far. I did add two ROS style steps to the strap just off the tie off posts. It really helped “prop” my feet up making it Uber comfortable and allows me to completely stand up if I want to. Thinking about adding a third step for the exact opposite side to give me a ROS hyrbid style allowing me to walk 360 around the tree.
