Needing help replacing my bridge with webbing.

A stitched bridge won't allow adjustment of bridge length and it won't allow fine tuning and cinching where on the loops the bridge pulls.

@Weldabeast, I always want to understand the reasons why someone chooses to do what they do.
So what is it about cinching the bridge on the loops that you didn't like? It's not a permanent position that it locks upon, so it's still quite adjustable. And (at least for me anyway) I find that, for a 12 hour hang, there is no perfect spot that works for the entire day. Maybe for the 1st four hours or so it feels best in one spot, but later on it feels better to move it just a smidge. Even wearing different clothes can make a difference as to where the cinch feels best.
Just curious to your reasoning. I can't see a downside to the cinch.

I have a the same adjustable bridge that the old flex has on them,

I don't adjust mine....set it and forget it. U are correct.... vet wrap would interfere with how they function. If I really wanted to get tedious with the xacto knife I could stealth strip to were it wouldn't mess with the function of the slider.
These are not meant to adjust under load....ur bridge would have to be unloaded and u need 2 hands to adjust

Got my webbing and slides in from EWO.
I may be going with webbing from now on. Very easy to put on/off and relatively cheap to replace each year.

Should you be doubling back the webbing in the triglide like with older rock harness belts?

Glad to see this thread as I wanted to switch out my Amsteel Bridge to a webbing one.

Question, are you guys using the tubular or flat webbing?

There's super high load rated flat webbing, but it tends to be wide (won't slip through carabiner as well) and rougher to the touch.

I'd use climb spec Bluewater tubular webbing.

I think, climbing spec tublar is 4800# and heavy duty flat is 6100# in 1 inch.

You may want to call Aerohunter and see if they sell just the webbing bridge for the Merlin. Each end has a sewn loop you girth hitch to the bridge loops.

Is this the correct way to secure webbing bridge to saddle? I’m going to use a carabiner on one side so I can open the bridge.

That's the way I do it.
But regardless of whether you loop back over and thru the slide, you should shorten the tag end so it can never interfere with your bow string. I'm a right hand shooter so I always try to keep strap ends and stuff short and tucked on my left side. If you need to adjust the bridge shorter, make the adjustments from the other side.

Got mine swapped out.
I think I will likely stick with webbing from now on.
