I'll stick with my nostick single stick. But it looks like a hawk helium. How tall, what is the weight?

1/16” 7by 7 aircraft cable. No weight to report but can honestly say it is lighter than it was with a 1” Webbing strap. Figured if it would hold a coyote as a snare it will hold me. Can’t wait to try it out. Wasn’t sold on a single loop. And the 5 step aiders look like they have a lot of sway in them.

I girth hitch the aider to the tree and single stick with it, no stick. Once I get to height and install my platform or ROS, i pack up my 5 step aider and have nothing below my platform. No sway, no stick, no worries.

I have heard a lot about having to bury your toe into the tree with the 5 steps. But if it works for you awesome. I just didn’t see the need for that many.

It's a slower climb for sure. I have 1 tubular webbing on my helium for cold weather hunts, but just the 5 step when its above 35 degrees. Rather slow climb than hunt heavy in super deep public land.

Update on this stick. Didn't go for a real climb today but had to put it on a tree and try it, it was awesome! The best aider experience I have tried so far. Was able to put the bottom of my stick at about my nose and was roughly 6-7 foot off the ground in 1st move. I cannot wait to have some time to do this with my saddle on. Also The Daisy chain was new to me but I love it compared to the factory Hawk buckle strap. Really looking forward to this method finally.
