All and all they are pretty much done besides final tillering, sanding and sealer. Typically I’ve used Tru-Oil for the finish but this time I’m going to try Thunderbird sealer. Vacation calls and after I’ll have some pics of the finish. Thanks to everyone who followed and the shared photos of the bows they built. Please feel free to post more pics of the bows you’ve built. I’m sure there’s more of you out there.

Bought a green bow once….. didn’t turn out well.

I would do a build but I gave away all my machinery to a friend years ago and I have bare minimum stuff now but I’m thinking this winter I might try to start accumulating again. Fire fly bows were nice shooters back in the day

Have you ever had an issue with the region right near the fade outs? It looks like the limbs take a pretty decent turn to the belly right there. Just wondering if that hinge point could every cause durability concerns?

Some of the bows like caribou and gull lines bows and some of the original black wolf bows had abrupt fades like this in past a few other lines had this style. No problems what’s so ever in longevity. Makes a smooth shooting bow
