New bridge

Last year I ran an Amsteel bridge. I saw somebody do a review of Kestrel Vs. a Mantis with a double Amsteel bridge fished through tubular webbing.
I really liked the look of it, and just finished my own.
Here she is, 26 inches including the beaner.
My single Amsteel bridge always spooked me just a little. I would sit in the tree and inspect and scrutinize every title fray, and color change to my bridge.
I feel like this webbing sleeve will protect the Amsteel.
Anybody else done this mod?
Any concerns, or critiques?

I just got rid of the amsteel bridge on my mantis and built a bridge out of two climbing slings rated at 23kn each and ran those through a piece of 1 inch tubular webbing. Bridge is connected to the saddle with two delta links with a 550 WLL. I like a webbing style bridge but didn't want to mess with knots or keep switching it out. My bridge is 24" and I really like it. No carabiners either

You’re not gonna break 1/4 Amsteel. It’s just not gonna happen lol. If your new bridge gives you more confidence then it’s worth doing, but I fully trust 1/4” Amsteel. It’s been tested to failure and proven. Your saddle will fail first

Great, now he’s gotta buy another saddle to sew to this one.

But where is the information stating when to replace it or how long it's safe to use? I haven't found anything. There's plenty of info out there on actual climbing rated equipment

Here's the double amsteel bridge my cousin made me. The webbing is to slow down the bridge when sliding through the carabiner. I liked his so he made me one.Screenshot_20190112-114213.jpg

After one season my old single piece of Amsteel just looked worn out. I had decided to replace it, I think the webbing will reduce the wear significantly.

I been running amsteel for two years same bridge. Over 200 hunts and I don’t know how many hours. It still looks good!! The stuff is tough pretty hard to beat.
