I made a copy of the raptor saddle and wanted it to be noise free and easy to manage.
I used the inner tube mods on the
D-Rings,added the rear straps and used a rope belt.
This is actually a really nice saddle and is cheap to build.
I plan to add some of these elements to a double bridge loop saddle build tomorrow and see how I like it.

How did you attach the rope belt to the saddle?

Nice idea. Maybe after you have more experience with it you could make a list of the advantages and disadvantages that you find. Innovation and testing is the only way to find out. Great sewing job.

This one is riding above the top panel I used 4 loops to run the rope through to avoid feeling the rope when your setup.
Works great and you don’t feel anything. I tried running it through the top panel and you feel the rope more than you do when it’s above the saddle.
A rope belt actually for me works very well other than stepping through it I see no down side over a buckle.

I’ve had a lot of interest in this design so I’ve decided to start making some available to sell.
I will make a thread about this saddle in the vendor section once I get everything lined out on my end.
If you have anymore direct questions pm me and I’ll answer best I can.
