You live in the Yucatan, can hunt family private land between Lanesboro & La Crescent, along with public land by the mighty Root river. Other than something different, why in the world would you want to go to another state & hunt public? People dream of hunting here. Pope & Young would have been green with envy. Of course this is only my opinion.

I don't ever plan on leaving this area, I would just like to try something different. I'm thinking for the cost and to get used to traveling, I might try Wisconsin this season.
