I have zippered mesh pouches in my Arctic Shield ones that I sewed inside by hand and then tied a pull rope on the zipper. That seems easier with gloves on than working a button. I guess it's no big deal to sew neoprene and I could put a big button and big loop, these are sewn at the seams of course....but they are expensive and I've never sewed neoprene, so I'm a hesitant.

PS...figured out a work around...sew the zipper pouches to the existing mesh pouch in the TN ones.

Arsenal’s Agile packs and RZR Sub2 platforms are a huge improvement from what I’ve seen the previous three years, I’m very impressed with the minimalist style of the pack without sacrificing storage… and if I had any issues with my Xop lite platform I would upgrade but I just don’t need it yet.

They are in the back of my shed right now.

I took the ones I linked, figured out position inside the boot blanket so that it would be over the top of the foot and over the toes, then sewed the corners of the pouches through the boot blanket with thick upholstery thread (just make an X pattern stitch....only did the corners of the pouches). I then tied some of the upholstery thread on the zipper pull and did a few overhand knots to give me something to grab.

When it warms up, I'll take a pic and link it back here.

Might be nice for presets. But it will snag on every branch and bush in the woods trying to pack a stand in with that on there.

Will also snag on every branch, bush, comment you made three years ago that one time, will always start talking three minutes before last shooting light or make you thirty min late to start walking in to “her” spot you spent six years finding through scouting.

pics attached. left foot is regular and right foot is XL (the second pic is a picture from the front so feet are reversed). wearing an 11.5 wide danner element boot with 800g insulation. that is probably the biggest boot i will wear these with. if i need to go for more warmth i have hoffman pac boots that i will use. the regular is a little snug and definitely could use a little bit of room in the heel but i will probably get some stretch after use. the XL is large/spacey. given i am using a regular sized platform, will probably stick with the regular size since they fit to avoid unnecessary bulk on the platform.

Coming from Arctic Shields....a big priority was how easily I could slip them on with a saddle on without twisting into a pretzel...so the largest size was going to happen.
