New gear 2026 edition….

I've never understood the draw to Florida, people I know that move there hole up in the ac for 8 months a year cause its too hot, ac turned down low enough to make your nipples hurt and then they gasp and whimper while moving from house to car.
That’s because the people you know haven’t discovered our beaches and springs yet. The fact that you can go there and it’s warm enough to swim from late March until late October. The “bird watchin” ain’t bad at those places either :tearsofjoy:

My house is 65° 365 day a year. You will need some nipple cream at my house.

This is exactly the thing my Dad did when they moved down there. Hard to see a super-mobile-get-it-done guy get sidelined because of heat.

I don’t know man. Our South Florida guys are getting out there in early August when it’s 103 with a heat of like 110 and humidity of 90 percent or higher. You guys gotta acclimate :tearsofjoy:

I purchased a hunting related item that is new to the market…..should it actually be delivered I will try it out and report back, good OR bad.

I don’t want to toss it out there and then it turn out to be a turd, but if it works like it should……will certainly make my life better.

That's not how this works.

That would only be because I'm not leaving the couch once it hits 85. :tearsofjoy:

EDIT: Oh and my furnace is still working but my AC has been dead for 3 years. They're both 30 years old.
You're not leaving the couch once YOU hits 85 either....

My AC is over 30 years old too. We are literally waiting for it to fail and already have a saving account for it once it happen, that was 4 years ago and it is still working. The tech who come maintain it annual is still amazed that it is still work and told us they actually have a pool at the office to see when it finally dies. He say its inefficient as hell and he strongly recommend replacing it, but he can't legally or morally tell us that it need to be replace because it is still working. Hooray for small family business that you can trust to be honest with you. Which bring me to the people who maintain my septic tank, who my wife demand they only send the owner to do the work. She told me before the son was the usual guy that does it, and he keep telling her we need to get a bigger tank before something happens because we got a lot of people in the family now. But one year the father(owner) came instead. He didn't realizes we were longtime costumer and said our tank is really clean and whoever we used before did a good job. Wife said his son usually did it but he said it need replacing, father just brush it off and said, "He say that to everyone, yell at me all the time to do the same because replacing a septic tank is big money for us. But as long as you're not flushing bunch of junk down the pipes and keep it maintain routinely, it'll last forever." So yeah.....

I’m convinced he is baiting us, but I’m kinda curious what the heck he’s talking about
A lot of the thumb pictures on Youtube are clearly AI altered where the buck is bigger, but I'm not sure I have ever seen a video or whole article AI generated. Not saying someday that might not happens.
