New Gear Release 2022!

Same. This might get me into the filming game once and for all. Just bringing this and the phone I bring anyway seems easy.

Also curious about the modified ridge runner. Didn't hear a weight. Wondering if the top step is removable as it seems unnecessary to me.

Disappointed to not see a saddle climbing platform from OOAL after the rumor mill said one would be presented at ATA. Hopefully it is still in the works.

Wonder what the price will be? I'm probably going going to have to upgrade phones soon anyway. Any newer smartphone will take decent video. Better than GoPro or Tactacam footage.

That's more interesting than anything I've seen from ATA so far. Wouldn't mind giving Mark more of my business either. Great customer service and fast shipping.
Be careful with a Limit. I owned one years ago. The platform on the originals had rounded corners where it touched the tree. Will not take any side pressure. Always put your last step above the platform and step down onto the platform. Also stand squeaked in cold weather. That's why I sold it. Since the limit weighs 8 lbs I would rather have a Helo that will work on leaning trees.

I’m interested in this camera arm Matt from OOAL had on his video. Made for a cell phone, believe he said it’s a one piece design that weight 2-1/4 lbs.

4th arrow has em I think for 159 with everything already. 2.6 lbs for The whole kit n kaboodle

Never knew that existed. Only difference I see is Matt’s is connected by a ball in the bracket, would that tend to give the camera arm a more fluid motion when moving it around? I have absolutely zero experience when it comes to filming, but I feel either of these options may be good for a first time filmer like myself.

The last item, Inventive Outdoors ScentRelief Attractant, reminded me of the pee threads here and made me laugh.

They also say that the Tethrd CF platform is supposed be priced arount $250, but knowing the cost for good carbon fibre, I'm very skeptical about that.

Timberninja platform hasn’t been talked about much. Probably because the tethrd carbon platform overshadowed it. I am not sure what the weight is… but the price point is $550.

With a $550 platform, $1,200 treestand and god only knows what the new sticks will cost…. They are pricing themselves out of contention.

I would think the TN sticks with metal steps would be cheaper. I would think, but I am not very smart.

Peeing cost me two magnum NY bucks several years ago within 30 minutes of each other and I'm still not over it!!! Anything that I can use for wiener redemption is fair game!!! The ball is all about leveling the arm when mounted to crooked trees/limbs. It really is a great idea. If the arm is crooked its hard to level your camera and if its crooked enough the weight of the camera can cause the arm to drift on its own. I have a DIY I'm pretty happy with but I'm going to look at this myself.

I totally missed this, I’ve been waiting to see how the saddle platform turned out. Looks like a solid offering! EDP ish size but not cast, another great option. Can y’all remember less than 5 years ago we were picking apart stuff & DIYing all these solutions (some were super sketchy) now you have multiple manufactured options for any preference!!!!!!!!!
