Very cool. Can you explain how you have your Limit tricked out in this pic? It looks like you have a cloth coating over the platform part?
The abrasive strips, on the platform, wore off through use. During certain conditions my boots would sometimes make a squeaking noise. So, I simply used some electrical Ty-raps and carpet for silent foot movement. I had one of the factory cables break on a hunt. At the time I used a short length of rope to finish the hunt. Later replaced it with cable. Had to replace the seat material a couple of times. They always ripped on hunts and like the platform failure I was able to temporary make it work.... one time with a length of 1/4" rope and another with parachute cord.Very cool. Cool. Looks like that stand doesn't owe you much!! Any safety concerns besides the cable? The abrasive strips, on the platform, wore off through use. Run a bolt through each side of v bracket so each bolt will grab the tree. Keep in mind these loc on stands are not made or designed to cam over. This will show my ignorance as it pertains to this stand; however, I’ll likely be ordering one soon because I think this stand and the pack will be a pretty slick set up for public land next season.
What keeps this stand keep from kicking out?
There aren’t many videos on it, but without any teeth on the bottom and a bracket on top with just a strap to get it tight, are there any issues with stability?

I actually "semi" cam them over. Here are the instructions: http://www.locontreestandsllc.com/pdf/LOCONLimit-WindInstr.pdfRun a bolt through each side of v bracket so each bolt will grab the tree. Keep in mind these loc on stands are not made or designed to cam over.
I too cam it over slightly ... I do so without any weight on stand whatsoever and have found that the two bolts aided in that. I am also only 160lbs...I actually "semi" cam them over. Here are the instructions: http://www.locontreestandsllc.com/pdf/LOCONLimit-WindInstr.pdf
A little practice and they lock in real tight. Adding the bolts or anything else on the back that would keep the back from "sliding" into place would be a negative IMO.
I used an ameristep style hook/cam strap. I found it easier to tighten, easier to silence, and readily available. I also find them easier to loosen after weighting and sitting in the stand all day. I can't take the credit for it, @WHW is the one who turned me on to it, and you can see in his pics, its what he uses too.@Vtbow you mentioned utilizing a different strap than the stock one or in addition to it. Which strap do you recommend and why? Thanks!
I ordered the full set up too.
Mine shipped today.
Should be here Thursday in time for me to take it out of town this weekend.

Did you get a shipping notification and/or tracking? I ordered on the 17th and nothing so far.
I used these straps I found on Amazon to replace the seat on mine. Either hitch around the back horizontal post or the front post with the end that is twisted and then just loop the other end around the opposite side that you just did that on... Seemed pretty comfortable but then I also added a cheap padded seat on top of that attached to the front post with a couple simple little strings. When I wanted to use the stand as a platform I just flipped the seat section up and flipped the padded seat over to rest my knees against. The abrasive strips, on the platform, wore off through use.
