Hello all! I am going to try saddle hunting for the first time this season. I have only been hunting about two seasons now but I am obsessed. I rock climb and am very comfortable and excited with the idea of saddle hunting and hanging in a tree. My plan now is to purchase a Trophyline saddle and make a tether and linemans belt from some climbing rope and cord (prusiks), and I have plenty of locking biners already. I have just begun reading the wealth of info on this forum and I'm excited to dive into a new hobby.
 
Welcome from Maryland! Btw it may take a couple saddles before you find what’s the best fit for you, good news is you can resell them w/minimal loss once you find a keeper.
 
Thanks everyone. Yes I've been seeing that as a trend on here and I'm definitely okay with modding or trying different ones. Good to know.
