hello everyone im a new saddle hunter this upcoming season and ive equipped myself with a tethyrd phantom and hawk mini sticks with single step aiders for my first 3 sticks. ive messed around behind my house climbing up trees and getting settled in as well as shooting from the saddle. one thing i struggle with is while climbing i hang my sticks which ive tied a paracord loop on the top step to an sbiner attatched to the side of my saddle. it works but i feel like there is probably an easier way to do it. if anyone has any other methods im open for suggestions as im trying to be as efficient as possible. thanks!

Welcome from Maryland! When I carry 4 sticks I hang the first 2 from the ground then hang the other 2 off the Molle loops on my saddle.
Welcome from Northern Virginia. This is exactly what I do. I have a plastic biner on either side of my saddle and clip a stick to each side via a little paracord loop.

thats basically what i do and i figured this is what most people do as well. thanks for replying i appreciate it!

Welcome.. Like they said. Hang your first 2, clip 2 on the sides. Get up the tree. It gets better as you do it more. I struggled the first few hunts. It gets better. Practice in the dark if you can.

Welcome from Maryland. Use these, you can attach them to your saddle molle. Only way your paracord loop would fall out if you are hanging completely 180 degrees with your head to the ground....then you have a bigger worry then your sticks....haha

That’s what I was talking about. Sorry they are not 3D printed like I thought

Welcome to the site from northern Michigan!

Here is a previous post with a couple of suggestions. I'm a single stick guy so I can't speak personally to its effectiveness but in concept I think I'd at least try the method described by @Nutterbuster of @denots climbing method in post 4 of the attached thread. I swear a saw a video of someone using this method somewhere but I can't seem to locate it.

Edit: Another good thread on the subject at hand.

I have a couple of paracord loops tied to the molle on my saddle. I hang the climbing sticks from these loops by the versa button. It works really nice for me since I can pretty easily hook/unhook the sticks with just one hand.
I've found that with the Hawk suction cups I can even hang two sticks on one side if I need to. I haven't had the suctions come apart while I'm climbing and I always make sure to use one of those sticks on my next step once I'm climbing.
