I have a 450 Ruger bush master. If your daughter is going to use it . 350 legend would be a great choice, more enjoyable for her to shoot. Just my opinion. Be blessed
I'd suggest shooting it a bunch with different ammo and see what groups the best. I settled on Federal Fusion this year and it performed very well out of my 7.62 pistol.View attachment 42609
I am actually building a 350 for the upcoming season as we speak. Got it at the local BX during a sale last month and ended up with 40% off so walked away with about $600 in the gun. So far no complaints, but I still need more hands on time with it.been using a buddy of mines advice for everything as this is my first AR platform, so if anyone has any advice it would be appreciated.
I am looking at triggers first to be honest. I was lookin at the Geissele SSA, however, someone above recommended the LaRue, so I may look at that as well when I get a free minute. Other recommendations welcome as well. Thanks for the info on ammo. I have the Hornady 170 American white tails, Winchester Deer Season 180 grains, and Deer Season 150 grains. I’ll get more testing in once I am done with our upcoming PCS to Delaware.I'd suggest shooting it a bunch with different ammo and see what groups the best. From there you can either upgrade your stock to something that allows a little better cheek/stock weld or replace what I assume is a mil spec trigger. Also ensure your magazines are quality and you don't have any feeding issues.
Might be political but after seeing the ATF go after P80 and then a couple weeks later attempt to go after pistol braces I think you're not wrong. I ordered two more stripped lowers just cause I want to be able to build a couple more if I feel like it.Hope this is not political ,but the in coming government has it sites on the AR stuff . May become very expensive to own one or to own one at all .
