New to saddle hunting in New Zealand

Don’t like the idea of price of saddles. I have a sewing machine so may diy. Big learning curve to get over. Oplux and resc tech not widely available here although Donaghys armor-prus is very similar. Any views on it?

I started saddle hunting 14 years ago
... but i only heard of saddle hunting 4 years ago... do the math... i am Mr. DIY. JRB TREE Climbing is a YouTube channel if u wanna see how i climb. Use the playlists. And next time I get down under... well... NZ is on my bucket list. Cheers mate.
