Hello and thanks for the add. I am in central Alabama and I have been researching saddle hunting for the last 2 years, and I think I am about ready to make the purchase. I have mainly been looking at the phantom and the Cruzr xc just can’t seem to make a decision. Any pros/cons of each that I need to know about before making a purchase? Thanks.

I haven’t sat in a cruzer but they are completely different. I say buy or try both. Then decide which one is right for you. And then keep buying and selling the rest looking for that magic saddle that defies physics.

I don't have a Phantom but I have the Cruzr XC and it's an awesome saddle I highly recommend it.

How soon are you looking? Last I knew saddles were 2-3 week + lead time. But I bet you can find someone not to far away who has some cool stuff to try. Or wait for a meet up. Seems there a good number of those down that way. Or watch the classifieds on here for a used one.
Welcome. And good luck this season!

I ordered a Cruzr XC last week and I am just waiting for it to come in. I sat in the Phantom at ground level yesterday when I met a member on here to try it out. I think it really depends on your size. The phantom is very minimalistic but has a lot of adjustability. I just thought I wouldn't be comfortable in the phantom for a long sit. It just seems the cupping of the phantom is too streamlined in my opinion. You would have to try both in my opinion. But for me the cruzr or a flex from aero hunter seem to be the way to go for comfort.

Welcome! I have both, and if I bought the Cruzr XC first, I probably wouldn't currently own a Phantom... That being said, everyone's comfort is different!
