Got a new Windwalker in the mail from Treehopper yesterday. Mark has switched to the hook and bucked type system that is so much better than the buckle he formerly used, where the strap had to be routed through the buckle. Nice upgrade. He also selling them with an option for 18” or 20” seat posts. I ordered a 20”. Time will tell if that is better than the 18”. In stealth striped the buckle and hook last night and it is super quiet now.

Nice. I swapped mine out for this strap, ran in the same configuration as the windwalker photo. Same idea with the new one. Looks like It’l be good.

what are the folded down dimensions on this stand?

Tiny. Not sure exact dimensions but the seat collapsing on itself creates a very small profile, both width and depth. No seat hanging down or sticking a foot off my back in a “meat shelf” configuration. I like mine a lot.

The weight seems tolerable enough for an affordable hybrid option, but I'm concerned about it fitting inside the expansion part of my pack so I don't have to strap it on the exterior.... any chance @bodark or @Sticknstring88 could get some measurements in the next couple of days?

If I dont forget I can measure mine this evening. My configuration is different with the different seat but the measurement you need is just platform to the top of the seat post.

It fits perfect in my MR Pop up 28. That’s how I carry mine. I’ll get a photo this evening.

yeah, folded down thickness is what I'm looking at

I snagged some pictures of my Windwalker. I swapped the shorter seat posts out either last year or the year before for the longer versions. That was a much needed upgrade in my opinion. I also took off that hook and loop system and added two vers buttons and a cam buckle strap. I will say of all my platforms, climbers, etc. my little Windwalker is probably the last one I’d consider parting with. I snapped a picture of it collapsed. I wanted to make note that while it measures 4” at the tallest, that’s with the seat making contact with my sidekick bow holder. You could possibly squeeze it down to 3 1/2” if it wasn’t in the way.
