Been eyeballing this whole saddle hunting thing for a couple of years now. Finally, after a lot of research and finding this forum, I broke down and ordered a Mantis, some WE steps, and a knaider/swaider. Hopefully I can get it all in and together before our season opens up in Oct. I hunt a good bit of public land and the thought of having such a lightweight climbing setup really gets me amped up. I can't wait to get it all in and try it out and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can here at SaddleHunter.

I stick mostly to the central part of the state. I'm from Coosa county(hence the username) and most of my hunting is done within an hour-hour and a half of here.

Coosa, eh? I've got kin up that way. That WMA is a pretty place.

Welcome aboard.
Might be somebody I know, its a pretty small world around here.
And the WMA used to be a whole lot prettier. Mostly clear cut desert now but there are deer and still a handful of nice spots there if you know where to look.
