I am from the Cedar Rapids, IA area and new to the saddle world. I have been racking my brain with what seems to be nearly an endless list of options available. Look forward to all the knowledge that is surely here!! Thanks!
 
Welcome to the rabbit hole! You will find a ton of knowledge here for sure! I am hoping to be able to go to Iowa this year for whitetail with a small group from Ohio.
 
Welcome. Try everything that you can for free through people you meet. Find something you like and use it often, get good with what you have. The choices will never end, so at some point you may want to quit experimenting.
