Hello all!
New to saddle hunting and trying to do my research on picking out my new saddle, Watched a ton of videos, and been to every suppliers website, very tough call..
Any suggestions?
Tethrd? Latitude? trophyline? or others?
If I am going to spend $400-500 for a new saddle setup I want to make sure I find the best one for comfort and walking in.

Welcome.
Take your time and watch the classifieds here. Decide between a single panel( tethrd or TL from above list) and a sling style ( Recon is a cost effective way to determine if a method is a good fit). Transformer if you can land one, is a great - 1 and done option .
There are probably a few members nearby that would let you try their set ups before buying new. I suggest this as you can cut out alot of buy / sell trials .
You'll tweak gear alot after your first season anyway

Thanks, going to watch the classifieds..
I'm a Michigan hunter for 35 plus years in Oakland county, plus a member of the CCR in Atlanta.
All around hunter..

Welcome, best thing you could do is try & meetup with a couple guys & tryout setups. It would save you some money in learning curve...... check the maps or just post a thread with your area & what your trying to test out.

Welcome! Check the saddle hunters map and I'm sure there will be some guys in your area that would be willing to let you try their saddles out.

Welcome. Those are all great options as well as several other. Everyone has different builds, different pressure points and preferences. You have to find what works best for you. Check the forum map for people in your area and try to meet up and try as many as you can. This isn’t the cheapest option for hunting but in my opinion it is the most fun. Try as many as you can before making that purchase so you don’t end up on the classified with so many others. Lol

Recommended to try: Cruzr XC, Latitude Method, Cruzr Archon (if possible), and Overwatch Transformer or possibly the Bravo Company saddle (search Saddlehunter.com). I do have a Tethrd Phantom and I love it, but it took more time to get dialed in than the other saddle I own and have tried (definitely gave me more experience on what "I" like though)! My primary saddle is currently the Cruzr XC.

Been leading to a Cruzr or tethrd as my first saddle kit, I guess I need to flip a coin‍♂️

I realize its a little late notice but there's a Michigan saddle hunter get together planned for Sat., May 1st at 1:00 at Fort Custer Recreation area. I would expect there should be guys with several different manufacturer's saddles there you could sit in and try.

Welcome from Central Illinois! Good luck on picking your equipment. You can get a lot of good advice on this site but remember it has to only satisfy you.

Welcome, I would definitely look at the latitude classic. Very budget friendly and was my favorite saddle until I got my transformer.
For reference I think I hunted with 5 different saddles last year.

Recon is the most budget friendly IMHO. And its one of the more comfortable one. If you already have sticks or a hangon, this would save you alot of money for things too. Check out the Lone Wolf Custom Gear site, they are selling their Ambush platform for $80. With just an alunium tube, a standoff bracket, a versa button of some kind, you can have a premium platform for around $120
